Has anyone had any success with this product? If so, how did you use it and how long did you use it before you started to see a difference in the length of your hair? I'd appreciate opinions and experiences.:)

I used Surge with WGO on a spot at the back of my head that WOULD NOT GROW. This one spot would be slick-straight and never had any new growth because it WOULD NOT GROW. It was grossly over-processed because the hairdresser kept applying relaxer on top of this spot that had no new growth. Anyway, I used the Surge with the WGO on that spot and a spot that I had right at my hairline that was slick-bald due to my not rinsing all of the relaxer out one of my first times trying to relax my own hair  !!

I'd say it took about 2 weeks to notice the spot starting to fill in. The spot in the back, I didn't really notice when the hair started growing. I just know that when I went to relax my hair the next time, that I felt waves of new growth in this spot that WOULD NOT GROW for years! I was trying to stretch back then so there was probably about 12 weeks between relaxers.

I was CW every two days and I only used these when my hair was wet so every other day I would spray the Surge and then apply the WGO. I only applied these to my scalp. I only used these in the spots where I was trying to stimulate growth and I was only concerned with stimulating growth so I do not know how they affected length.

I tried Surge on my hair and my hair did not like it, that's why I only used it on my scalp and with the oil because the Surge tended to make my hair a little hard or something. Anyway, good luck with it. HTH!:)

Yes, it worked for me. I had thinning edges due to neglect and they are completely filled in:

My sides are perfectly fine now. I started using Surge again, mixed with glycerin and refined castor oil, to see what would happen. I only spray it once a day (due to the humidity) and my hair has stayed moisturized.

I have it but never used it. (PJ)
I might try it on my side that is a lil thin in the front.

It made my hair hard too, but now I use it on my scalp only and I really think it contributed to the serious accumulation of new growth that I had during this relaxer period. I'm going to continue using it now that my hair is freshly relaxed and see what happens. When I used it last time, I was several weeks into my nappiness. But even my hairdresser hollered when she saw my new growth this time.

LOOOOOOVE it...I've been transitioning for 3 years and have used it for 2 of those years. My hair is mid-back and I use it on roots 1-2 times a day and it softens my new growth. I'm not sure if it makes my hair grow faster but I get about 1+ inches a month. I also use the Woogie Cream
