Surge and Relaxers

Do you ladies take a break from Surge before your touchup? Like a week or so?
How soon do you start back using it?

I just started using Surge Plus 14 on May 1st. My last relaxer was April 27 (used Surge 3 days after touchup). I dont think it would hurt to use it right before or after a touchup. If you are worried, wait 3 days before touchup and 3 days after touchup.

I was thinking this, the week before I relax I am going to stop Surging, after I relax I don't think I will use for atleast 2 weeks b/c I don't want to cause any reversion and I don't know how sensitive my scalp will be from relaxing and the chemicals in Surge. One thing for sure, that along with my biotin is giving me a good amount of growth for being only 6 weeks post relaxer.

i didnt experience any reversion using Surge 3 days after touchup.

Britt, how many mcgs/mgs do u take of Biotin daily???

i surge right up until the day i relax. After a touchup i wait one week to start again

I think I will stop surging then my relaxer is Saturday.
I agree Britt I have had some growth and it has only been a week and a half.

I take 5mg of Puritan Pride daily. So far I have about 1 inch of new growth in 75% of my head.

I stop Surging the week before I relax

this is my first time using surge, but i'll probably stop using surge a few days before i get a touch up.

I started Surging 2 days after my relaxer- no problems. I will probably stop Surging 3 days before my relaxer, though.

I stop surge a couple of days before relaxing and use castor oil and start surge 3-4 days post relaxer.

I relaxed on the 30th(?) and I never stopped surging before/or after..
