It is used for dander but since it contains sulfur, like many products that claim a lot of growth, it is also used for that. Basically killing two birds with one stone.

My mom is the sulfur 8 pusha! She had a bald spot and grew her hair in w/ this product. I can vouch for the hair growth help of this product. It has helped grow my hair nicely b4 I got mtg. Using this and mtg, my hair has never had so much growth in such a short time!

I have heard many people rave about Sulfur 8. I use it, and I agree that it does increase hair growth, because my hair is growing a lot faster since I started using it.

It's up to you and your hair. Since Sulfur 8 is pretty heavy, I only greased my scalp about 3 times a week. But, since I have braids, I will probably do it nightly.

I recently purchased the light version......I think It is too early to tell if its working just yet.
I like the consistancy of it and it feels good on my scalp.

I use the medicated version in the yellow jar. I bought it the beginning of May, and I have used half of the regular sized jar.

Sulfur 8 is great for and itchy scalp and by my using it regularly I can now say that my hair is below the base of my neck.YEAH!!!!
