Substitute for pins and end paper

I bought mesh rollers online but they didn't come with pins.Would hair pins do the same job as the pins?Also,I have never seen endpapers anywhere around here.I don't think white salons use those.Does anyone know of a substitue for end paper?

I don't think you need end paper. I didn't use end papers when I rollerset with my mesh rollers. My set came out great.

I used those little off white plastic pins. You have to make sure the pins you use are long enought to keep the rollers in place. They will fall out if you don't. I don't see a problem using regular hair pins if they are placed correctly.
