Suave Balancing Shampoo w/Balsam and Protein-should I return it to the store?

Hi guys,

Today I found Suave shampoos and conditioners for 10 for $10 at the market. I had a coupon for 50 cents off that they double for a $1 off.

FREE SHAMPOO!

Anyway, I have never used Suave Shampoos because these types never seem to work on my hair.

I figured I could not go wrong with the clarifying one.

Anyway, I got home and it looks like I grabbed the Balancing Shampoo w/ Balsam and Protein instead.

Anyone ever use this? Should I return it for the clarifying? I am not sure about this Balsam ingredient.

I think you should return it, hopefully they'll exchange your products without too much drama. I personally cannot use most products with balsam in it,it just dries out my hair or make it hard and crunchy.

Yeah, that's what I've heard at one time about Balsam. CON has Balsam in it and I love that shampoo. But over the past few months, it leave too much buildup for the routine that I am using.

Again, thanks for the response. This store is pretty good about exchanges.

I think I will just get the clarifying, as I intended.

I've also heard that Balsam is not good for AA hair.
