I've had this product sitting in my cabinet since September. I sometimes would use it in my leave-in mixes...a very small amount which is why I've had it for so long.

Last week, I decided to try it out as a leave-in since I want to go through my products and do a spring cleaning. I had my two sections conditioned and rinsed but still sopping wet. I applied a dallop of the awapuhi to both sides and it just sank right into my hair which I didn't expect at all. I got out of the shower and I could tell my hair was shiny and not dull.

I decided to try it again today. Same results. I barely need a spray or two of my expensive biolage leave-in. I LOVE this product. Can't believe it's taken me over 6 months to try a $2 product that is seemingly giving me the same results as my $11 Biolage.

Since Suave is on sale this week at Target, I think I'll go ahead and pick this up.
I have become such a PJ.

Practically every product you recommend, Hairlove, is now a part of my collection. But this one is under $2. Gotta love that!

I can afford to be a PJ for those prices.

But I still love my Kenra and Aubrey. If only those could go on a deep sale, I'd be in heaven.

I might have to try it after running out of my leave-in and if stores around me carry it

my sister raved about this to me years ago, so i went and got it, it is pretty good to leave on your hair as a leave in......it just can still give you that little hint of a dull film without plenty of oil used with it....i used to use pantene as a leave in for years and thats one of the things i hated about it....the Awapuhi does better than the pantene at least with the film, but its still kinda there.

I really like awapuhi as a leave-in too it is a bargain. I jush wish it was a bit more concetrated though cos I run thru it. But I cant complain for the price.

It compares to the salon ones IMO

I have this. I use it almost daily and love it. I wash with the Suave Humectress version, and conditioner wash with this. And I leave a little in - I don't rinse it all out. Mix in a little Hot 6 Oil and you'll be very moisturized.
