Stylebell anyone?

I've been toying with the idea of getting some heat styling tools. Namely, a flatiron and blow dryer. I've settled on a Maxiglide flatiron and Chi Rocket blowdrier. I looked at a few online stores inc. Folica, Misikko, Frizzy2Silk but and then came across Stylebell.com. Their prices seem cheaper than the other stores I mentioned and they ship overseas at a reasonable price.

The only thing though, is I'd never heard of Stylebell until today. On looking for reviews, esp on here and other hair forums, there doesn't seem to be very much feedback on them. I'm really scared of forking out all that money and ending up with immitations or something .

Has anyone on here used them before and can report back on the products/ service they recieved? ... hmmm... I'm also thinking I should email MaxiusBeauty and Farouk and ask if Stylebelle are registered distributors of their products...

I found them in my research to purchase a maxiglide as well. While i decided to buy the maxiglide from ebay, I think I'm gonna purchase the miniglide from stylebell. They seem professional and fairly reputable. FYI I didn't find any review on them here either.

Just wanted to updates this thread.

So at the beginning of this week, I sent an email to Stylebell asking them if they were registered distributors of the products they sell or if there's a way for me to find out if their products are genuine.

In the meantime I emailed Farouk (Chi) and MaxiusBeauty.

  The reply I got from Farouk was literally this one line "No they are not an authorized distributor. You can purchase from JC Penney, Regis, Ulta, or Beauty Brands."

• The reply from MaxiusBeauty was "Stylebell is an authorized Maxiglide dealer. They have sold our products for many years. You can purchase from them with full confidence."

Take what you will from this. Please note that I'm not bagging Stylebell in any way because I haven't had any experiences with them. Just thought I'd update this thread since I'd started it. I really would've loved to purchase from them, but the response from Farouk made me a bit more hesitant. For now I think I'll just fork out the extra cash and go with Folica, until I find more info or hear back from them.

I'm just dealing with a bad experience as I type. They messed up the order (sent the wrong item) but want me to pay for shipping! The nerve!

I threatened to file a complain with my credit card company. Waiting to hear from cust. service (this will be our third call today). I'm aggravated beyond words!
