Strawset Pictures...

The drying time is not that bad (less x then a rollerset). it's the applying of the straws that time consuming. As she starts from the back, and works her way to the front, your hair in the back is 'airdrying'. You can also nix the dryer completely and leave these straws in your hair until ur hair dries naturally. BUT i wouldn't suggest walking out of the salon with your hair in straws

I wonder how it would hold up in hot weather??

Linday, it's gonna hold up. Trust me. It was really nice this past wkend and the wind was blowing the heck out of my hair too but it still stayed in place. As long as they put some gloss in your hair before they set it or after they remove the straws (as they r separating your hair), your hair will be frizz free all week long

i was sweating like a farm animal the other morning while working out BUT the good news is, it didn't sweat out my set (thank God). Every 3rd day, i put a little proclaim serum on my palms and run that thru my hair, keeps the frizz down and adds addt'l shine

My hair is curly but all of my hair does not curl the same. Like the back curls into spirals, the middle is a coarse wavy/curly and the front, well I dont know what the hell the fronts is doing. I just like the springy effect that the straw set gives

Wow girlie they look great...i didnt think you could get all that hair in straws...do you know what products they used...ohhh do tell.

Lottabody setting lotion, diluted with water. When she removed the straws, she separated each strand while adding a little proclaim gloss to her hands (and of course, my hair).

CH...is your hair permed...or are you post-relax( how many weeks if so)?
