What the heck is straightening creme? Does it ave chemicals in it? Can it be used as hair moisturizer? I saw some yesterday by loreal and it had good ingrediants, no lanolin, no mineral oil but I don't know exactly what it is? Can someone please explain?

Most of them are just leave-ins with silicone in them.

I am sure they can be used for moisture.

Silicones assist with detangling the hair and adding softness and
shine .But on the other hand if silicones are used to much it begins to build up on the hair actually clogging the scalp and blocking out moisture. When using a conditoner or moisturizer its best to get one with a minimum of silicone ingredients in it :)

wow, I never new that *races home to read ingrediants list on all shamppos and conditioners*
