are you trying to avoid heat all together because you can use a blow drier or a curling iron other than that i think someone used a technique called banding but i havent tried that

I want to avoid heat. I am thinking of getting a straight weave and I want to leave some of my hair out in the front. How can I keep it straight with out heat?

Is your hair tightly curled? If so, then I can't imagine how you can keep it straight without heat. Here is a suggestion- get a weave that matches your texture.
