Does anyone have any recommendations for sulfate-free stimulating shampoos for the scalp? OR if it has sulfates, it has to be gentle and moisturizing as well...

I already tried Giovanni TTT.

I don't have any recommendations for specific shampoo, but wanted to suggest that you could always add peppermint essential oil to any shampoo, conditioner or scalp oil for that stimulating/tingling effect.

I use diluted Nioxin Therapy, but that's only until I run out. I don't plan on pursing anymore sulfate shampoos.

@InBloom About how many drops of that would I need?

I add about 2- 3 drops per hefty dollup of conditioner to a DC on wet hair.

I add about 3 - 5 drops per heftier amount of carrier oil to a prepoo on dry hair.

I've never tried on shampoo before..I like for the peppermint oil to sit for a little while. However, I've read that about 1 teaspoon per every 8oz. of shampoo is a safe amount to mix. Just be sure to shake the bottle at each use to mix the peppermint oil through.

Trader Joe's Tingle Treat Shampoo and Conditioner.

I use the Conditioner to co-wash and it is DEFINITELY stimulating. Plus, it detangles like a dream and really cleans my scalp and hair. And I use grease EVERY. DANG. DAY.

HTH!
