Steaming Into 2020!

Happy new year ladies. We're two weeks into 2021, how's the steaming coming along? (Is there a 2021 thread, or just continuing this one?)

I was watching the vid below this morning, and saw this what I believe to be a steamer/humidifier(?) I was surprised to see one with a drawstring component. Can anyone ID this? Has anyone used one before?

How did I not see this challenge?? I got my steamer for Christmas and have been steaming weekly ever since. I love it!

1. How often you will steam? I've been steaming every Sunday but I noticed that my hair is starting to retain moisture a lot better so I may cut back to every other Sunday very soon.
2. What method are you using to steam? I have a standing steamer so I sit underneath for 30 minutes with loose hair.
3. What products will you steam with? I clarify my scalp with watered down OGX Tea Tree Mint Shampoo then I saturate my hair with Lush Glory conditioner. I don't care for the smell but my hair is in love with the stuff.
4. Post a starting picture (optional) I'm remoisturizing my bun today so I should have a pic then.

Happy and healthy growing ladies!

Thats cool. Im actually on amazon now about to buy a different steamer. I want the one that looks like a bowl at the top to in case all the steam. Let me see if I can find this drawstring one @awhyley

Thanks. I've been looking all morning and I'm obsessed! I was looking in the comments to see if anyone asked about it, but I don't see anything yet. I'll advise if I find the deets.

I didnt find anything at all so far @awhyley May have to message the natural in the video. Is the salon name up? I just watched and didnt listen because Im at work .

Yep, I'm thinking about messaging either her or Rhonda (the stylist). She posted the salon in the video. Here are those deets:

Stylist : Rhonda ( https://www.instagram.com/rhonda_thes... )
Hydra Bar Salon Here : https://hydrabarsalon.com/
Their Instagram : https://www.instagram.com/hydrabarsalon/
Their Virtual Salon : https://hydrabarvirtualsalo.mn.co/

What's a virtual salon you may ask? It appears that they have a subscription service, (it also gives discounts on products, if you're a member).
It looks enticing.

I think back in the day it was recommended to steam once per month. I use a heat cap weekly but recently switched to every other week and currently using it once per month. I'm not sure what the current advise is for which type of implement.
