Steaming Into 2020!

I've read that if you have high porosity hair that you should limit heat usage. Steaming is moist heat but still heat so I've reduced how often I'm doing it. I have missed it though and I haven't seen any improvement in my hair since I stopped. I may start up again.....
 
Slept with whipped cocoa butter in my hair and this morning I stayed 15 min under my steam, DC and I'm asking myself if i need to steam again with DC
