I know that it is the new year and most of you have probably resolved to visit the gym more often.

Today I started using my gym's steam room to steam my hair.

1. I take a shower and wash my hair after I workout.

2. I add my conditioner mixture, which consists of Conditioner, Coconut Oil, Peppermint Essential Oil, and Rosemary Essential Oil.

3. I comb my hair back and go and sit in the steam room. I massage my scalp while I am sitting.

4. This is so relaxing and when I left I felt soooo Good, like I had just visited a Spa:D

5. Additional Steam Room benefits include: Detoxification, Softening and Replenishing Skin, as well as Aiding in Relaxation.

I rinse before I leave the gym. I forgot to add that step.

I also plan to bring a spray bottle with ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) and Water to help close the hair cuticle after rinsing out the conditioner.

I think that the steam really opened up my hair's cuticle so after I rinsed, it was a little more tangly than usual.

The ACV rinse should help to eliminate this issue.:)

I have been hitting the steam room 5x weekly after my 3 mile run.
I do a deep conditioner 1x weekly, and regular conditioner on the other days.
Happy new year..and I hope our hair loves this therapy!

I did this several times during my cruise. I loved it so much, I shopped for a personal sauna. :look: Window shopped, because those things are expensive.
