Ok, so I'm not really a big fan of doing my hair. But I thought I was doing good . erplexed I did a dry DC with ORS (plus avocado oil and an egg) for two hours. Then I rinsed and let it air dry and used the ORS scrub. I rinsed and wrapped in my towel turban and took a nap. I got up and washed my hair with OCT shampoo, then used the creme rinse and cell therapy. I left the cell therapy in. I sprayed my hair and coated my ends as the cell therapy dried with sweet almond oil.
When my hair was about 80% dry, I blow dried it (but not completely), thinking I'll flat iron and wrap it b/c me and DH have a date tomorrow nite and I wanted to look nice. Then I said maybe I'll roller set instead. But I was having trouble doing the rollers! So I wet my hair again and towel dried and used my wrap/setting lotion to do a roller set- only my hair felt tangled and stretchy.
I ended up washing again and again and just decided to put the cell therapy on my hair and call it a day.
I just don't know what to do! I feel like I'm doing more harm than good right now and it also feels like I can't handle my hair! I don't know if it's b/c I'm 8 wks post and exp new growth or maybe even more (my hair seems REALLY thick, and I'm naturally thick haired anyway) but I can't even twist it into a bun to wear a wig! And I don't like using rubber bands- even the soft ones. I can't do a braid or twist out- my hair comes out looking like a mess! It seems I'm stuck with ponytails and wigs!
