Does anyone use DR weekly? I love this product so much that I am thinking of using it as my one staple product.

Has anyone else done this? If so, can you tell me if it helped or hindered your hair goals? Also, did you find any issues with using it weekly?

Thanks!!

***raising hand***

I use it every week (except for once a month when I clarify to get rid of any buildup & DC with Alter Ego Hot Garlic treatment to keep shedding at bay). It's done wonders for the health of my hair. Hasn't hendered at all. I only use the poo and last step conditioner.

this product is my staple. I clairify most washes w/ Neutrogena clairifying poo but I always wash and deep condition w/ Aveda DR. I wash bi-weekly....that's the regimine that works best for me but my hair is the healthiest its been in years and I love the way my hair feels after using this product. I pray I never ever have to switch.

I have been using Aveda DR weekly since late December and I love it. I have been getting so many compliments on my hair. I even got my first "is that a weave?"

On a weekly basis I:

Clarify lightly with Suave clarifying 'poo
Shampoo with Aveda DR 'poo
Condition with either Aveda DR conditioner or treatment (I alternate them on a weekly basis.)

I LOVE this range, I have been using it every week for about 3 months and my hair has never looked or felt better. I use the shampoo, then the intesive treatment as my deep conditioner, I then use the regular conditioner as a leave in.

I have a weave in now but prior to getting sewed up, I used it weekly. I used the Sap Moss pre-poo, DR Shampoo and then the Intensive Treatment. I usually mixed some castor oil with the treatment and sat under the dryer for a DC. Depending on how far in the stretch I was, I would use Elucence MB Cond as a final rinse after rinsing the DR intensive treatment because it doesn't provide much slip. I like this line and it works with my hair.

I use the DR line every 5 days, every single time I wash and my hair has benefited tremendously. It's my #1 staple line. I use either the Conditioner or the treatment depending on my moisture/protein balance, or sometimes I mix them together with great results.:)

I use Aveda DR every week and in conjunction with Elucence. It works great with Elucence. My normal weekly regimen is clarifying with Elucence Clarifying Shampoo, Shampooing with Aveda DR, and deep conditioning with Elucence.

However, this past Sunday, I decided to try something different. I used all Aveda Products. I loved the way my hair feels and looks. I was getting compliments left and right all day at church on Sunday. I didn't have time to use the pre-poo or to clarify. So, I washed with Aveda DR, deep conditioned with Aveda Deep Penetrating Hair Revitalizer, did a final rinse with Aveda DR conditioner and used Aveda Elixir as my leave in.

The results are in my signature!

Does Aveda have a clarifying shampoo?

I use this almost the same way. I alternate between DR and Kenra poo and conditioner during stretches. I use the intensive treatment and DR conditioner while under the dryer.

I've been washing my hair once weekly and since December, I use Damage Remedy 3 weeks out of the month. I alternate with Miss Key one week. DR REALLY leaves my hair silky and soft, CONSISTENTLY. At this point, I don't see how I could ever part with it. Nothing else has ever made my hair feel quite so good. The results are lasting too.

I do! My hair LOVES it. My hair has never been healthier. I just ran out of the shampoo, so I will probably co-wash my hair until I get more, because nothing makes my hair feel as good as Aveda DR.

My hair was a little over-moisturized when I used it that frequently; I was using it as a leave-in.

I love Aveda!! I don't use it all the time like I used to because so many products but it always makes my hair feel silky, soft & strong.

I love Aveda DR. I use it once a week. I've only tried the conditioner and it makes my hair feel silky smooth. I going to try the shampoo very soon. I can't wait to see how my hair feel and look when I use both.
