Split Enderrrr....arghhhhh!!!

I only used mine once. I put just a small dab onto my fingers and rubbed it through my hair. It was too greasy and sticky for my taste, I never used it again. :nono:

Do you use the capsules on your hair? If so, how?
 
Seems like a good investment. I know I am not trimming evenly. If they get back in stock, may purchase. But off to check a few more reviews.
 
i came home one my lunch break to do the "troubleshooting" he didn't answer......i left him a message and turned on this thing so he can hear the racket himself.....no need to trouble shoot....replacement please.....geez....
 
I just tried to call them today and that stupid voicemail came on. Grrrr!!!! I really wanted to get one and I want the new one not that old version.
 
Lynnerie girl they are sold out!!! i dunno what's going on with them...sometimes they will have 3...4 ...8 then they are out of stock.. :nono: so weird...

i wonder if they had a recall or something...
 
Lynnerie I sent them an email today cause I wanted to buy one too and they told me that due to an unexpected amount of orders they are out of stock. There will be some units available in the next few days but they are not sure when they will be posted but please keep checking the website. :perplexed

D.Lisha, I haven't used my capsules yet. I keep forgetting about them tbh. When I think of it, it's too late. I will try to remember to use them on my next roller setting day.

I keep checking too and they always stocked out too, one minute I put it my cart and the next minute it's gone
 
^Ok now thats just ridiculous. I saw someone selling them on ebay but they were the old versions...Blah. The website should at least be able to let you register with them so they alert you when more are available. I'm just supposed to check back everyday and be pissed when I see OUT OF STOCK!
 
Update: I just got off the phone with Gerry from the Split-ender company. They called me back and said due to high demand they are behind in production because of so many being ordered for Christmas. He said people should be able to order by Saturday on the site but I'm impatient and I hate waiting so I ordered mine over the phone with him. I got a confirmation number and he said I would get another confirmation when the company ships it out.

I told him I was on Long Hair Care Forum and he said tell the girls they can call the office number 619-209-8545. The 1-888 number on the website is just an answering machine and then an agent will call you back but the 619 number you should be able to get someone.
 
If yal want to get the split ender it 8 left in stock on splitender.com and they go very quickly, just bought me one, was surprised they had them my bf had check like five minutes ago and they said out of stock
 
okay, i want to buy one. don't want to drop 60 on something for my hair but i guess it's worth it.

ugh why couldn't i get it without the capsules, i don't want those
 
***UPDATE***

Jerry called me and told me that he would send me a replacement out with a calltag so i can return the defective one...

i called him back and left a message for him to send me the "new and improved" one an i'd pay the difference....haven't heard from him yet and this was on thursday.... :ohwell:
 
Lilmama1011 It took about 3-4 day for mine to arrived.

I hope everyone is waiting and only ordering the new version. That's the one I have and it's more sturdy than the original. I didn't realize that some people were thinking of ordering the original one. I hope you ladies enjoy yours just as much as I love mine. I never have to go to a salon for a trim and that works for me.
 
Well I got a email saying it has been shipped but still don't know how long and I got the new one too, it's only a few dollars more why not?! But I'm excited to use it because its a hassle trusting someone to do it or you in the bathroom mirror trying to do it yourself, but I have a question, it says run it through your hair three times, does this cut off more than 1/4 or this will end up being 1/4 of an inch actually cut?
 
Got that same email early this morning with a tracking number and stuff but they said they were out of Miracle silk but it would be available by the end of the week.
 
I went to check my mail this morning and saw that my Split-ender came. I haven't been checking my mail so I dont know how long its been there. lol

I won't be using it yet cause I'm in a weave but I'm excited for it. Every woman I see with long hair has beautiful ends and I believe thats the missing factor for me- not keeping up with trims which causes splits leading to breakage which affects retention.
 
so they have the original in again so i'm ordernig that with the warrenty. what is the difference between the maxi and the original?
 
Hey Ladies,

I'm interested in this to help me try to maintain the health of my ends so I can reduce some of the breakage i've been having. Is there a certain length of hair this is reccommended for? I'm a little past shoulder length, but it is far from full SL and I have several layers in.
