There were a blazing amount of threads raving about the wonderfulness of Silk Elements Relaxer.

Still feeling the same way???
Give your props if do.....

Vent if it didn't work out for you :( ...

Still liking it a lot:p. Silk Elements lives up to the name; my hair still feels silky. I alternate, sometimes layer moisturizers too, so they may be adding to the feel: Surge Woojee, SE leave in,Neutrogena silk leave in, Isoplus lavender, then seal with Amla, bhringraj, coconut or other oils.

Im still liking it too, even though some have been talkin' mad trash about it.  My hair is very silky, but I think I might use Elasta qp lye in mild next time (only because my stylist carries this in her salon). They both leave my hair silky and soft.:)

Hmm...Mona, are you thinking of trying it? You thinking about cheatin' on Phyto?:look:

I'm on the fence. I've used it twice now, and I have noticed reversion both times. But on the other hand, I feel my newly relaxed hair is stronger because it's not bone straight and has more body. I'm thinking that this is the healthier way to go.

I've noticed too, especially since my last one, that my overprocessed--relaxed every 5 weeks--curling iron everyday  ends are breaking off. I'm thinking that will be the case until my overprocessed mess grows out--anybody else experience this?

When I started this journey, I tried to be realistic and thought that the first year will be about getting my hair healthy; the second year to really add length. Thoughts?

My thoughts exactly. I hate bone straight hair...it looks so flat and lifeless so SE may be the way to go.:) And I think its healthier, too.

I used this last fall and I liked it. I haven't used it again only because I have not self relaxed since. If I do self relax again (I'm thinking about doing it myself in march), I will use it again. I had great results. My hair was silky and smooth.

*Only if I don't buy Phyto first*

I love it, but beware the Super is really SUPER! I bought ORS Lye to try out but if I don't like it I'll be going back to SE Regular.
