What sort of pattern do you set your hair in and why? what style do you end up with?

When I go to the salon I ask for a random pattern because I do not like to see the mohawkk parts. Or I ask for a verticle set which I think is a very sexy look in that it sort of looks like very loose sista-curls.

I've been doing the mohawk method. I really want to try piggy backing, but I don't know how it'd turn out.
