My stylist is killing me with her hard roller sets! I like softer, bouncy, full curls in my hair. I don't like hair so hard after a roller set, that you can almost cut your finger on a strand of hair.
But it seems like most stylist use setting lotions or setting sprays that make the hair hard!
I'm going to attempt to roller-set my own hair sometime soon, but I'm wondering what do YOU ladies use to rollerset your hair?? Or, if your stylist does nice (soft) roller sets, what does she use?
I'm just curious, because I think my hair looks and feels better after a softer roller-set. Plus, I dont' have to worry about my hair snapping and breaking while trying to style or finger comb it.
I've used plain olive oil & water in the past, and while this gave my hair a nice bouncy set, it didn't last too long.
What can I use?? Foam? Spray? Lotion?? Which brands are good? Maybe I could suggest it to my stylist.
