Spinoff: How Often Do You Aubrey?

I use Aubrey Organics once a week. I have GPB, Honey Suckle Rose, Island Naturals and the Blue Green algae mask. Lately I've been replacing my Honey Suckle Rose treatments with the Island Naturals conditioner. I think the Island Naturals conditioner is much more moisturzing. After using Honey Suckle for years I don't think it has the same effect on my hair as it did when I first started using it. I like the Blue Green algae mask. I feel like my hair is noticeably healthier after using it. My hair looks shinier, and feels stronger. I think its a heavier protein then GPB and I only use it once a month. I use GPB when I feel like I need a protein boost.

How often do you do your Aubrey Organics conditioning. I usually DC once a week w/GPB; but I have done Aubrey everyday this week. I know, wow! I am embarking on a new mini-twist reggie, and I cannot stop wetting my hair. Daily rinsing and co-washing is so refreshing and relaxing. I am alternating between DCing and regular rinsing w/GPB (my baby) and HSR. So what say you, how often are you Aubrey-ing?

I really like these products. Right now I use the HoneySuckleRose Conditioner to cowash out my overnite henna's monthly. The moisture really does wonders to combat the drying effect of henna. Great stuff.:yep:

For those that like the White Camellia but find the Honeysuckle Rose to be too heavy or not quite right, try the Blue Chamomile when you see it. I think you will really like it.

I don't think it gets its fair shot in the AO product line.

I'm going to have to agree with faithVA especially since it was her mentioning it in other threads that made me buy blue chamomile ... I've just started using it and it's what I went and bought with my coupon:yep: I really really like it. I've been using it as a dry dc.

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! I felt so alone

And it gets no love. I am hoping if more people use it they will stock it in more places.

Thank you! :thankyou: Thank you!!

I printed off about SIX copies. I'm going to SIX different stores today...LOL!!!

Thank you! I didn't realize you could use this coupon at regular stores. I thought it meant only "Aubrey" stores which I have no familarity with. But if I can go to Whole Foods with this coupon, then I'm good to go! :yep:. I might even try some of these other Aubrey's you ladies are mentioning :yep:

No worries.... I'm going to try it too when I can lay off some of this hydrolyzed protein. Which will probably be next year...

Gpb gets 2min love once a week. I dc with it if my hair is too soft.

Blue chamomile gets love 4-5 times a week. For me itss way better than the hsr. Its truly moisturizing and lasting moisture too.

Thanking faithVA for the blue chamomile recommend

Bi-weekly with GPB and Bi-weekly with all the others in the line and I do mean ALL the others ( I have Aubrey Honeysuckle Rose, Aubrey Rosa Mosqueta, Aubrey Island Naturals, Aubrey Jojoba & Aloe Desert Herb, and Aubrey White Camellia), when I've used those up I'll only restock on GPB and Honeysuckle Rose.

Maaaaaaaaan, now y'all got me wanting to try the Blue Chamomile. White Camellia is, in fact, my baby daddy and I can't imagine anything being better. But I'm willing to try it and see.

Off to buy yet another conditioner (smdh) ...

faithVA, I have BC in my stash but haven't tried it. I'll be sure to report back to you, Nix08 and DarkJoy. I also have HSR and RM but haven't tried them either. WC stole my heart years ago. I abandoned it (what was I thinking) but now I'm back using faithfully. It's multi-purpose: cowash, moisturizer, LI and DCner (both dry & wet hair).

virtuenow, I think WC moisturizes better but AV coco latte gives better protection because it's thicker. I may give WC a look this winter season to see which I like best. I haven't tried WC during the winter as of yet. I never use coco latte during the summer because it's very thick.

Once a week I apply an Aubrey's conditioner to my dry hair and leave it on overnight prior to washing. Usually, it's AO's GPB one week and White Camellia the next. I've also tried HSR, but it works better on my hair post-shampoo or as a co-wash.

Anybody Try the AO Swimmer's Conditioner? It smells great (almond)

They claim it's the Vegan Alternative to AO GPB (which contains Oyster Shells). I really liked GPB when I tried it but found out I'm allergic & broke out behind my ears, etc

I'm also intrigued by the Blue Chamomile that yall are raving about - but since chamomile is in the ragweed family and I happen to also be allergic to ragweed (of course! :ohwell:) I'm scared it will break me out too.

Also what does the Rosa Mosqueta smell like?

Anybody's scalp get itchy using these conditioners or is it just me?

I really want to use AO Conditioners b/c they are reasonably priced for having such nice ingredients and silicone-free (my hair hates cones)...but I scared the same natural ingredients that draw me to them will disagree with my sen-si-tive self! :spinning:

weekly i lubs aubrey's :) j.a.y, gbp and hsr are my staples! ceramides are the bomb which is why before this forum i could never figure out why i loved these conditioners so much.

NappyRina wheat germ oil contains ceramides which is why people love aubreys so much. i don't know how silk dreams would compare because i've never tried silk dreams but ppl love this line too because of the ceramides.

Really? I had a dream that he professed his love to me. I didn't even know I had a crush-- I never have celebrity crushes...Or is he the one with a crush.

I had the same dream and he wouldn't put out because he thought it would ruin the relationship. I was tryna get the drawls and beat it up :look:

@EnExitStageLeft

Would you say the Silk Dreams Vanilla Silk is comparable to any of the Aubrey conditioners you've tried thus far?

Yes, I would say that its most comparable to HSR. The both supply an abundant amount of moisture. The WC is very moisturizing, but it also smooths the hair, this is why I didn't choose it. WC is my HG condish, but HSR and VS are close seconds and also tied:yep:.

@NappyRina I do recall itching from aubrey in the beginning...I don't now though and I use aubrey daily. HSR and RM for cowashing. The RM is a rose smell similar to HSR:lick: I love me my aubrey. The blue chamomille is a light fresh scent and very nice but doesn't work the same as WC, HSR or RM. They are all worth trying in my opinion. I use most of their conditioner line in my rotation.

Thanks ladies for responding, appreciate it

Nix08

When you say the Blue Chamomile doesn't work the same as WC, HSR & RM ... do you mean it's not as moisturizing, has less slip, more strengthening, etc?

Thanks
