I want to read more responses!
Since I've been on this board, I've taken a major interest in enhancing femininity. I don't always do it... I slack off for long periods of time, but once I pick it up again, it's so much fun
The things I listed above aren't so much about making myself feel "beautiful" as they are about making myself feel "feminine." Maybe they go hand in hand, maybe they don't... dunno.
Other things:
...going on dates I don't really have male friends, and though I interact with men daily, it's simply on a professional level. So, going on dates is a great opportunity to get dressed up, play up my femininity, etc. (that's kinda getting old though... not going to lie)
...Buying/getting flowers. Now this has happened only 3x this past year, and I realized that I spent a lot of time looking at those flowers when I had them I love how they brighten up a room.
...wearing contacts... gives me more incentive to wear eye-make up.
...wearing cute sleepwear. A couple years ago, I went out and bought 5 sets of cute sleepwear. Sadly, I realize they're all impractical for New England weather I love wearing them though. Now I really want a silk robe Frankly, I don't even intend to hang it up in my closet. I'm thinking of hanging it near the door, just to have a pretty silky thing to look at
...Ooh, this one: some nights, I do an oil wash on my face with EVOO or EVCO. The next morning, I always wake up with fresh, glowing skin. On those days, I don't wash my face don't judge me. I just wipe my eyes with a wet cloth and go I also don't wear any powder on those days bc the moisture balance on my skin is perfect after those oil washes. I've also done this prior to dates, just because I know it's a feel-good thing for me.
...I try to laugh daily. In my personal time, I tend to be very quiet. I don't like having too much noise around, but so much quiet isn't that uplifting. So, just watching something cute or funny on YouTube is an awesome pick-me-up, especially after a long day at the office. If not a laugh, then some music... just for the feel-good vibes.
