Her hair looks amazing. I have a full bottle of this in my cabinet. I couldnt' get past the smell. I got a really bad hair cut this summer and REALLY need to grow it out. Guess I'll try this again after doing a search on BT regimens

Congrats to her! Edited: Oh she had the baby already? I thought she wasn't due til next month. Congrats to her on that too!

Sparkling Flame the maker of Boundless Tresses is midback length now. She hasn't been here for a while and she states she's been super lazy with her hair.
Check out her fotki for better pictures. http://public.fotki.com/Caisha/

Hmm. How long can you go with leaving in the same braid? I've worn an afro puff for an entire work, but I redo it at least once during the week. And I haven't worn a puff for a long time now.

I have my hair in a banded ponytail today. I'm going to see how long I can wear it. I'll try to go 3 days, which is a long time for me because I don't like sleeping with my hair so tightly constricted.
I do the banded pony tail and I can pretty much go as long as I want to , with just touch ups, readjusting/tightening the top band and at some point taking it down finger oiling/seperating and putting it right back. any conditioner w/ any oil and brush takes care of my edges smoothly

i can do it a long long time LOL

I just try to not go past two weeks when its lazy time, when I want it fresh -for what I KNOW is actually freshly done and not false appearances then I will do it sooner if need be

has anyone considered making their own boundless tresses formula since she listed the ingredients on the? or does she add more to it than just what is listed?

Awe, thanks so much for sharing OP. I really miss her. I enjoyed reading her posts and watching her YT vids.

Because she's permed she can def. get away with one braid. Smooth it down with water, tie it and u can roll out the house...I think Kinikakes used to do this (of course her hair always looked good) but I don't remember for how long.

This is why these hair journeys are so customized.
For example, her regimen sounds like mine (if I actually HAVE one). I wash, detangle, DC and while I can't do just one big braid, I do several. Very uneven, not parted. The last one I was wearing for 2 weeks before I got my hair braided had one medium size twist on the left and on the right that same amount of hair had 3 smaller twists. It doesn't bother me because I bunch up the hair in a bun. The twists make it rather bumpy but hey, it's fine to me. By no means is it 'presentable.' In fact, my biggest problem is when a social activity comes up that I actually WANT to attend. I have to re-strategize how to get my hair look good. And don't let a Mr. stop by OH lawd..."Oh I'm out of town this weekend."

My default good look-ing style is a braid/twist-outs and that takes a lot of time to do. I literally won't go out if I can't do a nice style. But work, I will go any which way. My hair care practices and styles fit my lifestyle. Next year lots of things will change and the styles I wear will have to be more presentable. Let's hope I can keep it healthy too!

If I did that my hubby would have a fit. He tells me all the time your twists aren't done well in the back and he ends up redoing them for me.:ohwell:

I didn't see in her routine where she says she is using BT? Does she still use it?

Her hair is really pretty. Very healthy too.

wow, she's had great progress!

but... one thing i noticed... oct 08-oct 09 is 12 months. she states that she is 8 months pregnant in oct. 09... could that have aided her growth?

i've seen at least 2 other women (lhcf members) who seem to have had an INSANE amount of growth during their pregnancy.

So i'm wondering, is it just the BT? though i am tempted to get it... :look:

I was wondering if she got a pregnancy growth spurt also. Her hair looks great! I miss her posts on the board!

She's made great progress! She says in her progress shot that she would wash once a week, detangle in the shower, and put it in a braid to dry. Then she would leave the braid in until next wash day, which was 10-14 days later. That is indeed a recipe for great growth.

I wonder if she has to work outside the home. How does she keep it presentable for so long? Has anyone else had success with one braid worn for so long?

I believe she's relaxed now, so maybe that helps keep it sleek. I know with my hair once it senses water or gets mussed all the coils start to riot and try to fight their way out.

Although, when I was a little girl I usually wore two french braids for about 2 wks at a time and they stayed pretty presentable.....haven't tried it since then with braids - but I have done it with bunning.

I was just thinking of how much I appreciate each and every one of you wonderful ladies on this board, and she came to my mind. I also had no idea she was behind BT ( I never tried it, but since it was mentioned so much, I had considered it).

I got the ponytail rollerset from her, and I hope her and her children are blessed. I don't think this sweetheart lady will ever know how much time she has saved me and she has no doubt added to my retention since I rollerset more frequently now. I doubt if I ever rollerset my entire head again. I can do it so fast now! ( with just 4 ponys).

I usually wear a lone braid anyways, so I may try her shower/braid thing...

Also, when I was pregnant, my hair grew like a weed, and I did nothing to it the entire pregnancy until the day before my induction. ( I didn't want to look a mess in the pics). Leaving the hair alone definitely works.

Sparklingflame had her baby girl earlier this week . She and I talk on the phone often and she says that she's not done much to her hair, especially this pregnancy. I was JUST about to order some BT from her when I found out she'd had the baby. I've heard wonderful things about BT from other members:yep:

I'm pretty sure she's a SAHM who homeschools.

BT was the product that rivaled MTG. MTG stank so Caisha made an odorless version and a scented version of BT which helped with hair growth. I remember how my hair thrived with it. BT was an improvement because I could use it in day time without worrying about a smell. It also made my hair grow so fast, that I needed touch ups more often.

I just ordered some of this. I'd like to incorporate it into my 2010 regi along with my Mega-Tek.
Maybe in Jan, I will set a personal challenge. I have made strides and I think I could get some great growth in a years time adding this...
I have only seen positive things regarding it.
