What am I doing differently in these two pictures??? Because this is not possible, is it? I've been doing this same pull-down method for a while now, and my hair always falls in the same place: the longest hairs would fall right at the bottom of my eyeball. Whether my hair had been previously stretched or newly stretched, it would fall in the same place when I pulled on it. I did it again this morning, just out of curiosity.. and it fell in a totally different place. These are the same twists in both pictures for the most part; I just re-did them while moisturizing last night.

This is not possible to have that much growth in 4 days, is it? Or am I just crazy? :spinning:

Did you grab more hair in one pic than the other? Is one pic with damp hair and the other dry hair? The first pic looks like more hair is grabbed and a but more shrunken.

My moisturized hair stretches further than dry hair.

What's your reggie?:look: That's some good growth in only 4 days.

I don't even have a regimen yet, I am so new to this. I've been taking MSM and biotin for a while now. I have been using MN every other day for the last 2 weeks or so. And I switched to a liquid multivitamin on Friday, and used a chelating shampoo for the first time ever. :ohwell: But this cannot be real growth already!!! :drunk:

My hair wasn't wet in the first pic; it had been in those twists overnight. It may be that I'm grabbing more hair in the first pic. :yep: Because something ain't right! I don't want to be fooled by imaginary progress, lol.

Did you twist the first set tighter or maybe higher up?
To me it looks like the base of the twist is lower in the 2nd photo and that is helping it to stretch much farther than the 1st one.

It could be the 12/31 pic was right before the growing phase, your hair took a breath and spreaded it's wings. Just like a flower. One day the petals are closed the next day open.

Congrats....perhaps your hair wated to give you a New Year's gift :congrats:

The second set I actually twisted tighter. It is possible that the first set is higher up though. :yep: It's just gonna be a pain taking real progress pictures, I see. :look:

I hope so, I will take it if it's real growth!

your head looks tilted in the first pic and my dry seems to stretch better than wet. i have major shrinkage.

My wet or damp hair stretches more than dry. Also a smaller section is easier to stretch than a thicker one. I also observe the same thing Mook's hair observes. Perhaps you should do the stretch on hair not in a twist. Same section but stretch it out of the twist to see where it falls.

Just my opinion, I wouldn't use this method alone to document progress. Every time I put my hair like that I put different section of hair or more hair in the section from the middle of my head that I did previously and each time it's different. Shun my advice if you think I'm wrong but I really think you just need to take pictures of your hair in it's combed down fro state wet or straightened

Yeah, I think it was just the state of my shrinkage and where I pulled the hair from. :yep: This was just the first time I've done this in the last month or so and the hair fell at a different place. Thanks guys! I don't want to be tricked into thinking things are working if they're not. I guess it's just gonna be difficult to take these kind of progress pictures since things can vary so much. :ohwell:
