Soft......but not Beautiful

Okay, so here is the scoop.

I relaxed my hair after about 9 1/2 weeks. I used Soft & Beautiful No-Lye. I normally use Optimum, but is was all gone. I would normally put olive oil in it...about 1/2 tablespoon, but this time I didn't because I was under processed the last time I did it.

I relaxed with relaxer, then neutralized, made sure all of the relaxer was out. Then I used the Opti Intense Body heat Activated conditioner ( I always use this, I think its comparable to Duo Tex) then on top of that I used the HMC Complex that was included in the box and topped that off with my Queen Helene Cholestrol. I applied my Dove Sheer Moisture Leave in along with a litte B & B Oil Moisturizer and Chi Silk Infusion.

The next day I sprayed a litle sheer moisture ---waited for it to dry and then applied my CSI. Flat Iron. Had pretty great results. I pin curled then went to sleep---2 Pin Curls

Woke up and my hair is a mess, it feel like crap, what to do my ends feel really porous, I just had my hair trimmed in January---more like cut off. Now I am pissed, should I wash and start over???? By the way its not dry, I did see not minor breakage, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Help.

I'd say clarify, then try your regular conditioners again. :yep: Sounds like it's got some relaxer residue on it. People sometimes think neutralizing and clarifying are the same thing. They aren't: neutralizing only lowers the PH.

I have not had this experience, but I will suggest anyway:look:

Rewash your hair with your neutralizing shampoo that came in the kit and deep condition. I think this will smooth out your ends because the neutralizing poo will close down the cuticles and get out any relaxer residue you couldn't get to the first time. I'm so sorry your style didn't work out:ohwell:
