Oh, please...I hope someone answers this question b/c I've been wondering myself. Want to be able to get a fuller looking bun...anyone have any steps with pictures??
I used to use a sock to do my bun when my hair was shoulder length. There's no way I could do it now with waist length hair.
Take a tube sock and cut the toe section out. Then roll the sock down until it looks like a donut. Put your hair in a ponytail and then place the donut/sock on it (at the base of your ponytail). Then take your hair and start tucking it around the donut/sock. This is the best I can explain it. HTH.
Hairlove, girl I don't think it'll work for you because your hair looks pretty long to me. Like I said, it worked great for me when my hair was around shoulder length.
I think you can still achieve it with longer hair, you just have to wrap it around a couple of times and probably use a straight pin to keep it secure.
I just do my bun the 'regular ole way'. It works for me. However, this was very handy when I had shoulder length hair. Thanks for the info. Maybe it'll help others out.
