Soapnut Powder?

Does anyone use this to cleanse you hair instead of shampoo?

Hi, I haved used a mixture of the soapnut powder with amla, neem, shikakai, and bhringraj powders. I placed 1 tablespoon of each of the powders into 1 cup of boiling hot water. At first I made the silly mistake of not straining the mixture and I was rinsing out herbs FOREVER but my hair was nice and clean and soft. The second time I used it, I strained it through cheesecloth and it was easier to wash out. The only problem is that it's so messy and has NO thickness to it. I had that stuff all over my shower. It did do the job for me tho. I think I'll stick with it since I've yet to find a commercial shampoo that I'm pleased with.
