And this press is just as fresh as day one!!! :woohoo2: I am shocked! I havent even went through it again or done anything with it. The only difference between this press and any other is that I was soaking it with a spray bottle for the 'wet to dry' videos. There were some new products used, but nah, I really believe, me knowing my hair like I do, that the real difference came in really soaking it wet like I did in the Vids. :yep:

Whenever I press this is EXACTLY how I will do it again!

Your hair is absolutely beautiful!!! I am surprised it lasted this long!!! How often do you wet to dry press?

Your hair is just beautiful, it's so thick and healthy:drool:. I am too scared to use a pressing comb :nono:. I have not mastered that technique yet.

Girl thank you , I have never seen a press last like this. I am so shocked too! I dont press but maybe twice a year, I AM so thinking about doing it more lately though, I get so sick of the pony tail, just afraid I will regret somehow later...sigh

Thank you AngelDoll! Girl dont do it if you dont know for sure you could handle it , its not worth it , I do agree you kinda really gotta have the hang of it, I studied my hair dresser for a long time unbeknownst to him so that I could do this on my own, only I cut out his hellish blow dryer session and my hair has done worlds better. I was just thinking he would TRIP OUT if I showed up in his shop now:grin:

Sometimes I still think about having him do it, because he still gets it a kinda straight I never will

I like the 'body' I have when I do it, but I kinda miss his 'magic touch' too:spinning:

Looks good! I will try this one day when I am fully natural and my hair is as healthy and strong as yours!:spinning:

Thank you girl, I DO agree do it when your hair is strong , anyone that presses or blow dries, this way DEFINITELY leaves more moisture in your hair

I dont do it often enough to say it has NO down sides doing it frequently though, but if your already doing it frequently anyway, yeah, I really think this would be the better way to go

My hair greatly improved ditching my hair dresser and his tortuous blow dry technique (he actually was the bomb with it , to get it straight, just murder on my hair) nobody could get my hair straight like he did with just a blow dryer

but I do get the same level of straightness with way more moisture left behind and less damage with the wet to dry pressing first press, thats a fact:yep:

Wow! Your hair still looks great after 9 days! How do you wear your hair at bedtime?

I'm shocked like you girl! you know in the final press video when I had it in a pony , then twirled and wrapped around secured by a scrunchie into a bun

thats all I been doing with it, its working! I havent added any oils or products since the final press day. I'm trippin!

Do you have to do this with a pressing comb, or would it work with a flat iron?

They do make wet to dry flat irons and alot of ladies concluded you could do this with a reg flat iron and some tried it. Maybe they can post here if they see this. They concluded its best on 'damp' hair with the flat iron

I have now concluded its best soaking wet with a pressing comb:yep:
