See, that doesn't make any sense...let me neglect my hair and see if there will be anymore left..SMH

Your hair looks absolutely beautiful...Don't mind me just a little jealous.

Oh damn I thought I posted in here.. guess I didn't hit the button

OP, your hair is long, thick and beautiful. If you keep neglecting it one day you're going to take off your wig and see half your hair gone. I'd hate to see you have a setback. I say put the wig away and start taking care of your hair. You might need a little trim, but other than that I would just deep condition at least once a week and maybe do a weekly hot oil treatment with coconut oil + castor oil.

Danggg, how did you fit all that under a wig?

that hair looks soooo soft....i swear i could make a pallet on it and have a really nice nap.

just gawgous i say!!!

You are def MBL maybe even waist. Maybe using BT on your edges will help.

Beautiful hair. I notice you're part of MBL 2010. I think you need to be in WL 2010! instead ;)

Your hair looks great!!! If that's the result of hair neglect then I'd "hate" to see the results of your hair when you are diligently taking care of it:grin:

That's great, your hair is lovely. I need to stop bothering my hair all the time.

If your hair's thin, I don't know what to call mine! You have beautiful, long hair!

I think that you already know the answer. If you have been neglecting your hair, it will probably thickin up when you start taking better care of it.

Your hair looks great :congrats:

As far as the thickness, have you tried henna?

Take off that wig all that gorgeous hair under there.

Your hair is beautiful!

Now, I see that you are a challenger in the Knockout Nape and Edges/Massaging Scalp Care Challenges. These two challenges should aid you in regrowing your edges with adequate moisture, sealants, and massages to your edges. However, what products are you using to achieve your goals?

As far as the thickening, I have the same issue. The length is there, but not the thickness. I was reading some of the requirements for Thickening Hair Challenge and one of them was co-washing. I'm going to try alternating between co-washing and shampooing. I'm also cocktailing, drinking up to a gallon a water per day, and consistently taking my supplements.

Other than trimming your ends as your hair grows, I'm not sure what else you can do to get fuller hair. Personally, I hate to trim, but it does seem to make the hair look fuller.

Question: How are you putting a wig on all that hair? Is your hair in individual twist or cornrows when you wear wigs?

TAKE OFF THE WIG! You should be showing off your hair not hiding it.

For those who say you can't grow hair under a wig, they need to see you!

Your hair is beautiful, it's ok to abandon your wig from time to time!

WIG? Like a previous poster, how? Your hair is beautiful! I used to neglect my hair before this site, length was never the problem, but my hair is far better now than a year ago, glad I found the difference. Take better care of your own hair and your current challenges will be no more!

Anywho it did grow BUT IT IS SOOOOO THIN!! I MEAN SUPER THIN..I couldn't even wear it down it looked bad..I had to put it in a low pony tail...any advice ladies??

Your hair is beautiful. If you wish to see more volume, you can do styles that will add the illusion of extra volume to your hair. Braid outs, twists outs and super curly styles will generally do this. Other than that, I'm sure it will thicken up again when you get back on track with taking good care of it.

Congrats on your length progress!:grin:

Wow, beautiful hair!! I know that your wig is so convenient and it has certainly done well for you, congratulations!! but it's time for you to begin taking more time to care for your hair. Start slowly and try to work in a regime you can stick to (KISS) and I am sure your will get the thickness you desire. Thanks for posting and best of luck -- even though you don't really need it!!!!

That's a lot of hair girl! You are lucky to have hair that thrives even if neglected.

Your hair looks beautiful, please don't tell yourself different!
