And it was worth every penny! Esssspppppeeeeeecccccciiaallly since I got it for $23.50 on eBay (so a whole lot less pennies :lol: )! My friends all laugh at how I shop, but I love the fact that I can have all my wants AND needs while not bringing in six-figures (or having a spouse that does :perplexed) ! But I straigthened and curled (it does spirals!!) a little of my hair just so I'd be able to sleep tonight (to calm my excitement, lol)! It was smooth, silky, soft... My frizz was non-existent!! I'm 5 weeks post, AND underprocessed, so this is a God-send! I'll post some pics when I'm actually going to DO my hair and/or going out. My sister's coming over so I can do her hair (hopefully she'll help clean up my house as an even trade ;)), and if she obliges I'll post pics of what her coarse 4b hair comes out like! Thanks for all the help! Moral of my story: You CAN get a REAL ceramic iron for cheap! Hope this helps someone else :)!

Oh, and keeping with the thumbs up... The KeraCare leave-in as a nightly moisturizer is GREAT! Too pricey to do all the time, but still!! I know I snatched up Amina's on the Exchange Forum QUICKLY :grin:!

When I read the reviews, saw how much the one on Folica still was, there was no turning back. Just from the little straightening and curling I did last night I'm already pleased. I'm definitely gonna keep ya'll posted, though! Unfortunately I STILL didn't sleep well :mad:, so I'll have tons of time on my hands during my "vacation" :ohwell:...
 
I bought one of these when I first cut my locs off. I love this thing! It straightened my 4B hair out even without blowdrying first. it works really well with Redken's heat protector. I forget what it's call but it comes in a red bottle.
 
Glad to hear you like it! Of course I'm sick, and go back to work tomorrow and not off until Monday and next week-end :(. I hate hospitals :mad:!!
