So I've recomitted myself to a workout regimen this summer, but I'm also 12 weeks post and I won't be able to get another relaxer until August because of money reasons. I want to keep doing my rollersets because my new growth is soooo thick until airdrying just makes by hair tangle. So after I do my rollerset and I flat iron my roots, how do I keep them as straight as possible after I sweat them out during a workout? Am I conformed a ponytail for at least four more weeks?? Do I have to deal with the constant tangles until then that just force me to rip out my hair??? IS there anything I can do???? All suggestions are welcome.

You can't. What I do is exercise, apply Mango Butter and then comb out. You can't stop reversion but you must comb out to prevent tangling..

:grin:ok thanks. Do I apply the mango butter before I workout or after. Thanks for responding

have you tried specifically tying down your roots while you workout?... generally, if i do that (and make sure it's not wet before i take the scarf or whatever off), my roots will stay straight and prevent shrinkage...

I apply the Mango Butter after exercising. I also use a good scarf to tie it down at night so it won't look too puffy in the morning
