So excited!!! 14 weeks post relaxer!!(Comparison pictures UPDATED!!!!!!!!)
I'm 14 weeks post relaxer, and to my surprise my nape area(aside from the VERY bottom portion which is maybe half an inch if that) is SHOULDER LENGTH!!!!!!!!! My sides are neck length whcih, they were mid ear length(and top ear length) after my last relaxer, NOT to mention this is ALL with my hair all kinky from the corn rows(had a sew-in) So there is shrinkage and all of this length is based on my hair while it's in it's shrunken state!! So i'm really excited about my relaxer tomorrow!!!! I have pictures of how HORRIBLE my hair was December 25th(thats when i took the pictures) after i get my relaxer I'm gonna take pictures and update this thread with comparison pictures!! I haven't really showed ANYONE those before pictures because i was just so ashamed and hurt at what the stylist had did to my hair. She only took care of my hair in the sense that she wanted it too look good THEN, forgetting about LONGTERM CARE. I've been using Boundless Tresses as well as Lenzi's request!! I only wish I had been taking my vitamins :-( I had started my prenatals, but after I lost my baby
I stop taking them....Thank GOD I didn't loose any hair from the stress from that, I know this probably isn't the place to talk about it, but it just seems like after I lost the baby ALL I SAW WAS NEW BORNS AND PREGNANT WOMEN!! Really brought me down, but now my hair being THICK AND HEALTHY has really made me do something I haven't did in a while since the baby, SMILE!!! Which, no, my HAIR can never replace my baby, but this is one of the things I was praying for and it's really making me happy tha tnow my hair is healthier!! When you see my before pictures you will SEE why I'm so happy....Thanx for all of your good advice and support!! A few people who did really help me along the way with thier great advice: Claudie(thanx, I really do appreciate your help, even though you may not think I do!!), BillyJean(Yall really should try her Moisturizing SHEA BUTTER it is DA BOMB!![do we say that anymore?? lol] Like yall know how nappy and dry that nape can be, IT moisturizes my nape and makes it feel like actual hair instead of BRILLO PAD!!! Love it love it love it!! A little goes a long way with this product and I don't even have to use it EVERY day for my hair to stay soft and moisturized!! I never thought my nape could feel this lovely!! oh, Also I'd like to give a shout out to SEXIBEACH!!! She is also a great help in my hair journey.I know i've messaged so many of you ladies and I do apologize if i didn't name you here. But I love and thank YOU ALL!!! I know yall are thinking"this ***** is crazy" She went fromt alking about relaxers to babies then to praising sexi/claudie/bj/etc...... lol. Well anywho, I can't wait to upload pictures tomorrow!! Yes, I know I'm being a tease by not putting atleast the befores up tonight but it'l be worth the wait lol!!

She cut ALOT of my hair, about an inch off, she said it was dead hair, but i would have rather let you all be the judge of that!!!! :-(
