Many of you were supportive after my JCPenney Salon experience. Well, I noticed that the "semi permanent" color was not fading. In fact, it really lightened my hair (from dark brown to medium brown). She applied directly after a relaxer and I was clear to ask (several times) that I only wanted temporary or semi-permanent. That was on July 21 and it is still vibrant brown. I think I may get another weave for the next six months and see where that leaves me.
It's breaking a bit but, uneven and DRY. Hard to rollerset, hard to style. I already cut off at least 3 inches (the longest layer was below collarbone). I'm tempted to just do a full weave.
I have babied it, GPB and lots of moisture and oils. Grapeseed, olive and jojoba oils both overnight and as daily moisturizers. Rocking the tiny bun and had 3 tracks put in the back. Surprisingly, it feels relatively strong but, after this, I just want to baby it.
Beware of the JCPenney Salon at Carson Mall. I'm tempted to complain to the state.
Thaks for any tips,
Mel
