So discouraged - permanent color after relaxer

Many of you were supportive after my JCPenney Salon experience. Well, I noticed that the "semi permanent" color was not fading. In fact, it really lightened my hair (from dark brown to medium brown). She applied directly after a relaxer and I was clear to ask (several times) that I only wanted temporary or semi-permanent. That was on July 21 and it is still vibrant brown. I think I may get another weave for the next six months and see where that leaves me.

It's breaking a bit but, uneven and DRY. Hard to rollerset, hard to style. I already cut off at least 3 inches (the longest layer was below collarbone). I'm tempted to just do a full weave.

I have babied it, GPB and lots of moisture and oils. Grapeseed, olive and jojoba oils both overnight and as daily moisturizers. Rocking the tiny bun and had 3 tracks put in the back. Surprisingly, it feels relatively strong but, after this, I just want to baby it.

Beware of the JCPenney Salon at Carson Mall. I'm tempted to complain to the state.

Thaks for any tips,

hmm, do did u think it was a permanent she applied? It might be that after that relaxer that your hair was very porous and the temp color actually was able to penetrate in to your cuticle? has it rinsed out as yet??

:perplexed You poor poor woman. I have been there especially 1 1/2 months ago and I cried becaus ethe damaged it causes is depressing especially once it gets to the point when you start shedding badly. After I lost about 3 inches to breakage I decided to go natural once and for all i guess the perm and so called semi-perm color isnt a good combo..Im now transitioning to natural..anyway good luck w/ ur hair i hope it repairs soon...
