How soon can you apply a semi permanent color?

I had got my hair lightened and got a semi permanent red on top (btw it's kiss truly red) and it's been almost a month and starting to fade and I want to brighten it back up again. Can I apply it again! I got it done February 13 and it's now march 8. I was figuring since it's semi permanent it would be harmless.... Is that true? Or I mind as well get a permanent red since I got it lightened? (I have relaxed hair)

I think you can use semis as much as you want as long as your moisture level is OK. I think they just "sit" on the hair and cannot cause any damage to the hair. I use mine straight after a relaxer and about every 3 weeks. My only issue is the drip of colour every time I wash my hair. *poor bathroom *

I agree w/the bold, I use a semi permanent hair dye after a fresh relaxer(applied after neutralizer). I love it and yes...poor bathroom lol
