Due to gray hair and semi-permanent color not lasting due to increased washing and moisture.....would anyone recommend a permanant dark brown color. Or should I just stick to semi permanant rinses.

T& T Cocoa Brown should be nice. There may even be one that is a darker shade of brown.

There are also demi-permanents like Bigen and Robert Craig that will last far longer than semi-permanents and technically have no ingredients that could be a protential problem (ammonia/peroxide). They will not lighten your hair - but it doesn't sound like that's what you want to do.

That's theory though. There are folks who have found Bigen to be drying. I personally would go with the T&T.
