Hi my beautiful sister. Castor oil hands down! I sometimes saturate the hair with aloe vera first and then the castor. It looks as if I have JAM in my hair...God forbid!

I use Fantasia IC gel or that Aloe Gel from Walmart.
Hey NG, do you use aloe vera juice or the gel?
My hair is not natural but I use this for slicking edges and such in between relaxers and on my clients. The hold lasts all week and it doesn't flake. I love it!! A little goes a long way.

Aloe vera gel. It's like thick water in a bottle to me. It also makes the waves more in sync... if that makes any sense.

Awwww. Thanks!!Great!

Thank you mama!!!
By the way - I think you are a total HAIR rock STAR! I have learned so much from you.....![]()
what ever i use, mango butter has to be used in conjunction with it. aloe vera gel make it flat but not slick. usually fantasia ic blue or clear with mango butter makes my hair slick and no need for a scarf. i rember trying to slick it with castor oil and water. my hair was just oily and i had no slickage at all.just a different perspective though
