Skin Lotion on Hair

Okay I put Palmer's Cocoa Butter lotion on my hair because I was out of money and needed something creamy to put in and it worked great at smoothing my hair down. Actually better than anything I've ever used. Well, anyway now I'm scared my hair is going to fall out. I remember my mother telling me she used regular skin lotion on my hair when I was a kid and my hair was close to waist length but I'm still scared. It has ingredients like mineral oil in it, but that has never done anything negative to my hair so I am posting the ingredients and have three questions:
Will my hair fall out after a while?
Has anybody ever used regular lotion on their hair?
Are any of these ingredients particularly harmful for the hair (other than the mineral oil and petrolatum, both of which my hair seems to love)?

Ingredients:
Deionized Water
Cocoa Extract
Mineral Oil
Glyceryl Sterate
Propylene Glycol
Glycerin
Coconut Oil
Stearalkonium Chloride
Cetyl Alcohol
Palm Oil
Petrolatum
Dimethicone
Hydroxyethylcellulose
PEG-8 Stearate
Cocoa Butter
Methylparaben
Microcrystalline Wax
Vitamin E
Propylparaben
Sweet Almond Oil
Geranium Maculatum Oil

I wouldn't worry too much if I were you. Most of the ingredients you listed are also in hair products. I did not notice anything in that list which I would consider harmful to the hair. Don't stress out because that WILL cause your hair to fall out!
