Ladies! I'm so happy I found you guys. Prior to finding you I used to run for cover when the clouds threatened rain. I didn't want my hair to get wet. Today it rained, and I was so happy that I could walk through it w/o an umbrella like everyone else b/c I'm no longer "scurred" of water. Since I rinse out every 2 days and wear my hair in a bun, a little water just keeps my moist. Sure, my edges my get a little puffy but then I can see that they're growin'. Now I may still ge a little nervous on special occasions when I'm wearing my hair down or I just paid $60 at the salon,but I will know that soon I can wash it and start all over agian. Thank you, ladies. Thank you, thank you, thank you. God bless!

Well since u brought it up, let me share this with u...

I know, I'm a lil

, but now when it rains, I deliberately RUN outside & stand out there for a bit, just to get my hair wet

... in fact, the wetter, the better

.

I know that it's weird, but it seems like my hair grows a lil faster after it's been drenched in the rain... I've noticed this occurence for years now. I think of it as "divine (growth) intervention"... my husband thinks of it as "this crazy girl is standing out in the rain.... again!!!

)

So of course I'm happy that we're finally getting some rain in Cleveland (OH)... coupled with my healthy regime, shoot, I should definitely get my 4" of summer challenge growth by Sept 1

.....

Seriously though... I'm really not crazy

It's not crazy. I read many times that rinsing your hair with rain water is good for it.
Makes sense to me.

I don't worry about the rain anymore....even when I wear my hair straight. I know I'm gonna rinse when I get home...so I just put my hair up in a bun and keep going. Come to think of it ....where's my umbrella???

That's so funny cause I was thinking the same thing. Now that I've got wash-n-wear hair, I don't even worry about rain! Plus, since not using heat, my hair feels thicker and healthier. Aren't we lucky???

On bun and braid out days, I don't care either since I know I can always rinse that day.

Now of course if I just did a rollarset then its another story!
