Let's start Show Me Week by traveling back to the days of show and tell. I want to see your childhood pictures. It doesn't matter if you sporting pigtails or looking like Curly Sue!

Now, if you do not have a picture of yourself as a child, then post the earliest picture you can find of yourself!

Don't be embarrassed if mom had you rocking the Jheri curl. The 80s were a scary time for all of us.

Placeholder. I will be posting my picture soon.

Yes, the frame to this picture is cracked. I was 6 in this picture. My hair looks like it was broken off, which is weird because I kept my hair in braids all the time. Wish I knew why. :ohwell:

This is me at 10. My hair was super shiny in this pic, probably due to the amount of grease my Granny put in it, lol. And yes, I rocked the mushroom from 3rd grade to my sophomore year of high school.

IDK how old I was, but everytime folks see this pic they crack on my bush ball and the tiny pigtails on the side...LOL. I think my mom or her friend did my hair.

School pic...I didn't have any front teeth so my mom told me NOT to smile showing my missing teeth...LOL

This is my 1st Communion as you can see. I loved my hair. Too bad my face wasn't happier-looking, LOL.

You guys look so cute!

I forgot about this. I meant to go to my moms house and get some from when I was a toddler and/or infant. I think I have some from as young as 4 or 5...let me go get a couple of pix and post them.

Me and my perfectly round baby fro giving someone (probably my mother) the side-eye of death. :lachen:

I apologise in advance for the size.

edge.jpg

I was one, with ashy legs, sitting on the edge of the table. My mother says she was just off the edge of the photo (I tease her all the time for letting a one-year-old sit at the edge of a table like that), and I destroyed that cake shortly after the photo was taken. :lachen: Luckily, my hair and the rest of my face grew into that forehead.

I have no clue how old I was, but I remember that photo being taken. I hate that braid in the front. My mother says this is a testament to how small I was, seeing how baggy those clothes were on me. (I was a preemie and very small for my age until I was six or seven.) That hair is still longer than my hair is now.

I remember this one being taken, too. As you can see, it is impossible for me to look at the camera when getting my picture taken. I still do not. I am sure if I had been born ten years later everyone would assume I have ADD or ADHD, rather than just being too energetic to sit still.

Girl you were SO not alone with that style. Hold up...let me attach my Mom's version. This was 2nd grade. That's the last time I saw my natural 4C (or maybe Z) hair. After that I got the relaxed "curly bush" look in the 3rd grade. Aww yeah!
