I have recently started back using some Elasta QP products I had in my stash, and I am loving them. Please share with me which products you use and how you use them! What you like, don't like, etc. They are inexpensive, but many of them have good ingredients...Thanks in Advance.

My Shout Out goes to the One And Only Elasta QP Product I have which is the Mango Shea Butter!

It's in my current rotation as a daily hairdress. I am Phony Bunning for Summer, so I'll rub a little bit on to keep everything smooth and moisturized. It's nice, light and fairly inexpensive.

At some point, I may try the DPR 11? I think it's called.:perplexed (It's the Protein Treatment).

Thanks IDare! I have also used the Mango Butter...but I have to use it a while, and then stop...its as if it stops working? But it does moisturize and lay those edges down!

mango butter moisturizer.... the only elasta qp product I have!
I bought it thanks to Traycee, I was stalking her blog and she uses it for her edges and her edges look great even when she is far past relaxer....
It's been good for my edges too so far!!

Thanks Traycee! :clap::clap:

I only ever used the mango butter, but it rocked. Tried buying Wonder Gro version this last time- its HARD, like can't get it out of the jar without a chisel or heating hard. Gettin more Elasta next payday.

I recently realized that I don't like any Elasta QP products. I've tried so many of their products. Don't like any.

I decided to switch from no lye relaxer to lye, so I tried Elasta QP. That was not good for me. It left my hair as nappy as ever. I guesss I'm back to no lye. Lol

No more Elasta QP for me.

Glaze and mango butter.

and feels like silk, and of course the DPR-11! That DPR-11 is one of the BEST moisturizing conditioners that I have ever bought! I add honey or molasses to it and a little oil, and my hair just loves it!

Mango Butter is the bizness. I love, love, love it. It's great for my ends, and smoothing ponytails & buns. I haven't tried any other Elasta QP products, but the mango butter has been my staple since the beginning of my HHJ.

I have...
DPR-11 (Mixed w/ SAA) Gives AMAZING slip & really gets the job done for thristy hair! :lick:
H-two Leave in Moisturizer--Smells good but evaporates from my hair too quickly:ohwell:
Breakage Control Serum-LOVE IT!!! If my hair is breaking or feeling mushy this whips it back into shape:yep:
Mango Butter-SMELLS AWESOME---used only on my ends w/ a touch of EVCO and sealed with Castor oil, results: Soft Lush Smooth hair in the morning!:drunk:

I want to try --the Scalp Stimulating Shampoo and Conditioner (I got a sample pack with the mango butter I purchased today:spinning:--review to follow)

My favorite Elasta QP products are the mango moisturizer, dpr 11 deep conditioner , and the glaze:grin:...they all do wonders for my hair.

These are the only three I use too! The glaze is great for shine, I don't use a lot, a little goes a long way. I love the smell of the mango shea and DPR-11 they both smell fresh and fruity but not overpowering.

DPR-11, my hair loves it! I make a cocktail with this, cholesterol and Silicon Mix. I use this combination as a deep conditioner. It has a very thick consistency and when I rinse my hair, my hair feels very light and very moisturized.

It's definitely a staple for me!

I can't find the DPR-11 anywhere! I've searched high and low for it! BSS' in the urban areas, Sally's, Dominican salons, CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Target...

Anybody in the Greater Boston/Cambridge area that knows where I can get this?

Some stores may be clearing out the old stuff to get the new packaging.

I'm really interested in the DPR-11...I am going to go buy some this wkend! Sounds yummy...I have some glaze, I've had it for years...and it is very concentrated. I'll have to try and use it when I am bunning. I almost bought the Creme Conditioning Shampoo yesterday, but since I just bought HE Hello Hydration set last week, then I'll have to wait until I use a little more of it...although the PJ in me is saying buy it now!!

I tried to buy the new CON and I smelled it and it still has the same fragrance it always has. I don't really care for the smell! So this may be a good alternative.

Elasta Mango Butter. It is my favorite moisturizer- and feels like silk as someone said-- and it makes my hair smell and feel good too! I buy it by the bulk. Unlike Miss Jessies and other hair butters, it costs less than $10 and the ingredients are quality/essential for hair growth. Now all I need is a conditioner tailored for my hair like this product.

After my Little Self Imposed Product Buying Hiatus is Over:sekret:...........

I will be buyin' & tryin' the DPR11!:sekret:

Thanks Ladies.

Breakage control Serum - love it!
Neutralizing shampoo - love it!

Dpr-11 - didn't really do anything for me. Maybe I need to mix it with something else.
Bodifying shampoo - left my hair stripped and dry!

my natural hair likes the mango butter a heck of a lot better than my relaxed hair did. i also love the dpr 11 conditioner.
