I am a freak. I just talked myself into ordering anyway, the DAY AFTER THE SALE IS OVER. I really like this leave in. My mother recently decided to let her natural hair AIR DRY instead of being a slave to the flat iron (I am diggging her new do) and she is REALLY going thru the journey (you know, the PJ journey, she is going NUTS). She came to my house the other night and I gave her alot of my beloved stuff to try and now she is hooked on good stuff like Gillian Butter, KBB, etc.

So I'm ordering her her own Gillian Butter.... and two leave ins (one for me one for her)... and my beloved Avocado conditioner. But I am mad cuz I coulda saved $8 if I ordered yesterday. MAD!

Hee Hee, I am not going to buy anything :). I am not even tempted.

ETA: It does look good though!
:yep: Me too. I'm awaiting my order of Oyin Honey-Hemp Conditioner as I plan to use this as a leave-in. Hopefully, it works well for me and if not, Shescentit's Coco Creme Leave In Conditioner here I come :giggle:.

oyin honey hemp and sheacentit coco cream are two totally different textures. and the honey hemp has a hold to my hair when i use it as a leave in. coco cream is sooooo much lighter with zero hold. i also think honey hemp is great as a deep conditioner and not all that as a leave in.

This seems to be a better deal than the KBB Super Silky I love so much. You get more product for less money.

ITA, its because of the aloe vera.

Would this leave in work for really dry hair you think?

My hair is this extremely dry, parchy mess without my beloved Shescenit/Hairveda DC's and The Coco Creme Leave In. I stan for it...my hair air dries soft and smooth and it doesn't puff up. I am 4a with a little 4b.

Ooooh you all are making me anxious. I ordered 2 last Saturday as soon as the sale coupon posted. If this is better than KBB milk/nectar (I have 3 of each) and KCKT then it will definitely be the staple leave-in. How does it do with detangling? Does the scent linger? I like coconut scents so I would like to last longer.

It should ship no later than Wed...I can't wait to try it (and all my other new goodies)!!!!

It detangles my hair VERY well. First of all...I'm severely underprocessed and my strands love to make love to each other all day long and get stuck on each other literally, :look:. After washing with my ShikaiKai Bar, I DC'd with Banana Brulee and added my Coco Creme. Tangle Free and my hair smelt heavenly for about 2 days. It smells very coconuty with some vanilla and oooooh.

Thanks Poranges:)

I just got mine and like OP said it is very watery. I'm 51 week into my transtion and prefer thick creamy leave in. I'm going to stick with Cantu and Giovanni!

I'm a big fan of the Coco Creme leave-in. My previous leave-in/detangler was KBB Hair Milk. While I loved the way it performed, I wasn't in love with the price or the scents. They just smell way too strong for me and the only scent I REALLY like out of the 98674943 options they have is Vanilla Latte.

The Coco Creme is thinner in consistency and not as rich/creamy as the KBB Milk, so I was afraid it wouldn't detangle as well. I'm so glad I was wrong. It detangles really well and feels so silky. And that warm vanilla coconut cream scent is sooooo good. :lick:

BUMPING.

I ordered this during the black friday sale and can't wait to try it out. Anymore reviews on this product?

I have only used it once but I really liked it. At the time, I was about 20 weeks since my last relaxer. I used it before I did a roller set. My curls came out bouncy and soft. You couldn't tell me anything! And like someone mentioned, it was excellent to detangle.

I am now in a sewn in weave, so i have not had a chance to use it again. Since I am transitioning, it will be interesting to see the results once I take down this weave.

:grin:thanx ladies!!! I can't wait to try this out to see how it sizes up next to Herbal Essence LTR. I've loved just about everything I've gotten from shescentit (not the butters though) so I'm sure I will love this one too. :drunk:

I liked it better than the LTR leave in. The LTR leave in felt sticky and heavy in my hair. The CC Leave in does not.

ahhh... See I've been eyeing this since black friday.. I decided against it, however being that I will be purchasing some more hair butter , i'ma go ahead and add that 2 the list. I'm in a good mind to order some 2nite.

Hurry up and order if you need it now...this is what is posted on her site .....

I'm back as promised with a review.

After doing my usual wash day routine, I used Shescentit MoistureMist with the Coco creme (I used about 7 pumps for my entire head). I was not impressed with the product right away, the consistence is kinda runny. When I applied it to my wet hair I didn't really feel any huge 'slip' factor right away:ohwell:. However, I still was able to detangle my hair with ease with the coco creme.

Its when my hair started to hair dry I knew it was going to be a winner. My hair was left buttery, bouncy, shiny, and truly moisturized. Plus my new growth was behaving!!! IMO Coco creme is better than LTR because of it's amazing moisturizing capabilities w/o weighing down my hair, and it has much better ingredients. It's now a staple product for me.

(repost from vendor forum) This is my second time using Coco Cream Leave In after a full wash and sorry to say it does not bode well with my hair. The first time I used it with Aphogee protein spray (the usual) and my hair felt a little hard. So I thought that maybe I used too much Aphogee..this time around I didn't use as much Aphogee and upon drying my hair is still not as soft as it is using a diff leave in + Aphogee. So now I'm not sure what to do with it. I may use it on my ends as a leave in and then again I may not...has anyone else experienced this? Now I have to find a new leave in...ish!

Yes, I've had a similiar experience. I've tried it alone and with other products and my hair doesnt seem to like it to well. I've tried it with airdrying and with roller setting and it leaves my hair a bit frizzy and slightly dry. It doesn't feel very soft after using it either.

I've tried her hair milk too and I get the same results I get with the coco leave in. I'm thinking it may be the glycerin because most products I have that contain glycerin in the first ingredients don't react well with my hair...

I'm going to go back to using my HE LTR leave-in & Phytomist and see how that works out...

:yep: Same experience for me. I've tried them all (Darcy's Leave-In, KBB Milk & Nectar etc., and I came to the conclusion that it's the glycerin that my hair hates. My hair is dry after using these products.

I've been using this product since it first came out and I love it. The only time I didn't like it was when I used it with another protein product and gave myself protein overload. :nono:

The consistency is fine a little thicker would be better just so it doesn't spill as much. I also love the smell.:lick: I wasn't looking for it to have major slip since I detangle prior to using it. Even with the glycerin it hasn't dried my hair out at all this winter. I have another bottle but will definitely repurchase.:yep:
