You got some good choices up there. I voted Keracare. Love the smooth, silky slip it gives. Elucence was my second.

I voted Kenra and I just started using it this week and I'm ready to throw away all other poos. My hair is so soft I was truly amazed.

Keracare did nothing for me and so many rave about it.

My vote goes to Keracare hydrating shampoo. I love CON but I only use it when I have heavy new growth because it does build up and bouncy swingy hair is a must for me.

This one is hard. I just tried CON again this weekend (i clarified before) and it is really good.

I don't know which one is better. My hair came out soooo soft it's ridiculous. But that may be because I used my Aveda DR afterwards.

Elucence forever and ever!!..if I want to clarify, I just add about a teaspoon of baking soda and I have a gentle yet very effective clarifying poo!

I just have to use colored writing to emphasize how good but neglected Breakthru's shampoo is. Think Creme of Nature's moisturizing and detangling without the slimey coating and buildup and you get this! I consider this more of a conditioner than a shampoo, so I use it for co washes also. So someone buy it and post about it to prove I'm not nuts!

Elucence is great. A little goes a long way. I use both the mositurizing and clarifying ones-no complaints.

I must say that CON get my vote, too. Its so cheap and you can just about find it anywhere!! I like Elucence, too, but sometimes it makes my hair feel stripped. And plus I always have to order online and pay shipping charges, etc. BTW, I am relaxed with 4a/b hair. Khandi, you have such a beautiful family!!

Elucence Moisture Benefits Shampoo is my absolute favorite. My hair loves it, so I'm sticking with it. When I need to clarify, I use Elucence Clarifying Shampoo. I haven't found another brand of shampoo that works for my hair as Elucence does.

Ditto what she said!:)

Another 'poo that's not listed is L'OREAL Paris VIVE Curl Vive Shampoo it moisturizes, shapes and controls frizz....I'm having great success with this shampoo....my hair doesn't feel stripped after using it my hair is totally moisturized and soft!

thanks ladies i plan on purchasing keracare since it detangles as well as give moisture. my hair tangles up really fast so i need that help. with all these name brand companies you mentioned i think somebody needs to send emails to all these companies so they can advertise on lhcf so that lhcf can be free to all. im sure it was mentioned b4. i just dont know why it hasnt happened yet. a lot of aa blogs have tons of companies paying big bucks to advertise there why shouldnt we ?

I am so torn. I think it is Keracare. And I think I am going to go back to Keracare. Nothing else seems to give me the slip that this one does. Elucence is a pretty close second though. CON I will not use anymore. I don't like how my hair feels anymore with it.

Dont think I even need to post on this one:D

CON always left my hair dull and dry over time. Keracare never lets me down, even though it has that runny consistency. Wanna try Elucence and Elasta tho

Oh macherie...you use Kera Care...I would have never known! :lachen: Girl I'm loving it to! And it doesn't hurt that you, my hair idol, uses it as well. ;)

Great thread. I need to try Elucence. Since I have been using Elasta QPs Shampoo for Relaxed Hair, I have been reluctant to try anything else.

I always ended up with scalp itchies after CON green label.

this is a great post.

i'm been using Creme of Nature Ultra Moisturizing for Dry, Brittle hair and I love it. I never get any residue. But I stopped using CON HerbaRich poo 'cause that stuff strips my hair.

I want to try Keracare 'poo (another macherieamour fan here!) but I dont want to burn a hole in my wallet (I already did that with the Humecto). But you guys got me interested in the Elucence.

I just tried Keracare for the first time last week. The price was what kept me away so long! It does give great slip. I have some SERIOUS new growth in the kitchen area, so I'm going to try it again tonight. It does feel like you can go straight to your leave-in after shampooing, but I'm still going to conditon afterwards. I have CON, but haven't used it in a while. I think those 2 will be in my permanent rotation.

I previously swore off shampoo and relied on CW because poo was tooooooo drying to my hair!!! Even my beloved Elucence MB poo became too much for my natural hair and I had the big bottle becaused I loved this stuff so much. Now I only use that to clarify.

BUT

Recently I tried Blended Beauty Soy Cream Shampoo and I absolutely love it! It is very gentle to my hair and has restored my faith in poo and I use it regularly, every wash week. The bottle isn't that big but I only use about 4 pumps a wash.
