Hey everybody!
I've been a SERIOUS lurker on this board for the longest time! I've followed some of the tips you have suggested on this board and I must say that my hair is thriving and is at the healthiest it's ever been! I guess I'll give a little bit of my hair's history as some background.
As of December 18, 2004 I am a completely natural type 3b/c. When I was 5 or 6 my mom took me to get my first texturizer because my hair was very hard for her to manage. By the time I was 8 I was getting full relaxers. When I was 13 I began to color my hair and that's when the damage really took its toll. I began experiencing extreme breakage and my hair was very dry. I went from having waist length hair to shoulder length when I did my first big chop. I began transitioning in March of 2004. In December I did my BC.
Well that's about it. Even though I just joined you all have helped me out a lot and I just wanted to say thanks a lot and I'm glad I finally joined!
