September 2016: Hits & Misses

Deets, please!

How do you make this?

Its based of the etae caramel treatment but altered a bit to fit my lo-po fine hair since the original was too sticky. It has

4 oz Coconut cream
1.5 large very ripe bananas (or 1.5 jars of pureed banana baby food)
1/4 to 1/3 cup of molasses
1/3 - 1/2 cup of honey
1 - 2 tbls of vinegar
1/4 cup of castor oil
hemp or other ceramide oil (olive would substitute well too)
essential oils (I use tea tree and a relaxing blend from now food)

Note: If using regular bananas you have to blend REALLY WELL until smooth so you don't need to strain. I poured the entire mixture into empty honey bottles and froze the extra for later uses.

I left out the water and cornstarch because I was lazy and didn't want to cook it (also winged the amounts a bit). But I honestly think if you only did honey+oil+banana it would be good. The extras just kicked it up a notch. HTH

Many thanks!!! I might try this once my Bekura YAM and TerraVeda Carmeltini are gone.

Ah yes, I almost forgot.
Miss: Me having to contact Bekura about my Labor Day order that ended up being an oversight, and it being shipped out this week (I just got two lotions). Mind you we are in the same state.
Hit: Her sending me a full size cacao body scrub and vanilla cream bath soak in addition to my items for the inconvenience. She's off my @#$$ list.

Gurl...That Was a Miss & a Hit *YAY You*:toocool:

Hit: dPhue acv. Dayum, this brought a certain kind of moisture that I haven't seen in my hair for a while. Probably due to neglect. I'm very inpressed. My scalp hasn't itched. I'm going to have to go hard with this for a while, then slow up once my hair is in a better state, and use it routinely after that. I'm glad I bought this, and it's a repurchase for me.

A Hit but not a repurchase:

Tonight I used Eden's Body Works Curl Defining Creme as a moisturizer and sealed with evoo. I really like the EBW curl defining creme. It's quite thick and full of moisture so it was perfect for my hair tonight. I will finish it but I am trying to cut back on what I purchase so most likely I will not be repurchasing it.

Hits :wiggle:
Netwurks on my edges. They're so much fuller now. I was never one of those laid edges people because too many laid edges compromised mine. I've been using it regularly on my edges and they are looking very nice.

MHC Type 4 Hair Cream. My twists looked so neat and moisturized. When I unraveled them this morning they were  Nice and shiny and smooth. Unraveled like nobody business.

@IDareT'sHair DS was all in my Tpye 4 last night and told him that's not for him, he is Type 3 :look: Now I gotta have both. For research :angeldevil:
