Revisted hit: TIGI moisture Maniac- had a bottle sitting in my cabinet collecting dust. I washed my hair one night after going out and I needed just a quick conditioner so I pulled it out and just let it on for 5 minutes. Worked like a charm, very moisturized, and my hair smelled great. Might buy a bigger bottle for backup since it isn't expensive either.

Hit: Pantene expressions red conditioner- since dying my hair red, I decided to try it for a quick cowash and it was nice. My hair was soft and it seemed to have more umph in terms of color. Great for 3 bucks.

The Herbal Infusions carrot creme and hair mayo were a hit for me too. I only hate that it comes in such a small container but since they were only $1 i can go back and buy many.

I hate the small sizes too,and that carrot creme has really strengthened my hair.
I hit up every Dollar Tree I could find and stock piled up on the carrot creme and only bought 5 jars of the Hair Mayo.

MORE HITS
AO Honeysuckle Rose conditioner- at first use- must buy again
Spanish Garden Coco and Shea Butter Conditoner

HIT-HairVeda SitriNillah - very moisturizing! Love the scent too.
HIT- Redken Butter Treat - Nice

MISS - HairVeda SheaAloe - too heavy for my thinner strands; maybe I was too heavy handed. Not sure I like the scent. I've used it twice but will try again.

Jury is still out on: Alterna Hemp Straightening Balm

Nope...you are absolutely right. It's too heavy for fine hair. I tried to make it work. BUT, it's fabulous on your feet. Makes the feet soft and smooth for days. :yep:

No you two are not putting my dream butter on feet! My hair love this stuff.

I meant to say this to another poster. Poochie i think. It does say this butter is for thicker hair. So I know this is why it's a hit for me. Sorry it didn't work for you ladies.

Lemme tell yall, I am 12 weeks post and my NG isso serious. I brushed my edges down with this, without even putting on a scarf, and my edges have stayed slicked down for the past few days!!! Looks like a fresh relaxer. I heart this product.

ITA: The Shealoe did not work very good at all for my fine hair either..I tried to use it several different ways for my hair but :nono:

But for my feet, that's a whole nother story. I think this is one of the best moisturizers I've used for my feet. My feet stay moisturized and look smooth all day...too bad winter coming...boots season..

Revisited hits
BBD Stretch for DC
AG Fast Food Leave on conditioner--soft, bouncy hair but no shine...just incredible sheen and softness.

Hairveda's Vatika Frosting
Using flexirods after my rollerset--extended my style for another day or two and they are easy to sleep in.

I know that I'll hear shouts of "blasphemy", but I am not feeling Aveda Damage Remedy Conditioner. The price tag is the first :nono:, but this odd-feeling, dry hair has nailed it's coffin shut! It was almost a neutral, because a wonderful member sold me hers, but maybe that should've been my sign, lol! Too, I know I should've followed up with a moisturizing conditioner... But still. PM me with offers-- I have over 1/2 (close to 3/4) of the 6.7 oz tube that will be sitting for a while...

major hit: coconut oil from gmc. i cant remember the brand but its totally different from spectrum even though they are both unrefined. this one feels so velvety in my hands and instantly softens my hair. and it smells just like coconuts.

MISSES: Carol's Daughter hair milk! (Can you say CRUNCHY HAIR?) and Biosilk treatment---this stuff does nothing but smell good

I'm still on the fence with Redken's real control and all soft...I took them to the dominican salon and didn't really get a chance to judge the product cuz well, my hair always feels the same afterward...smooth..lol
