Organic unrefined virgin coconut oil . Love it. It makes my hair so soft and strong at the same time. and it works wonders on skin as well.

Adding a little salt to conditioner(thanks kiya). This actually worked great for my hair.Ever since I used it my hair doesn't tangle ,the color of my hair looks very healthy and yummy. It has actually curbed my want for darker brown hair. My hair has been alot smoother since. And that was like 3 weeks ago. I might do this every month or every other month.

I honestly think the Whipped Jelly is my fav Hairveda product.

Did you use your shealoe mousse on wet or dry hair. My hair loves :love5: it when applied wet. It was just okay when added to dry hair.

really now!...i put it on wet hair for a braidout and the next morning my hair felt hard as a rock. but that's my fault...i heard that using it on wet hair could make it hard. i wasn't thinking. so now i'm starting to put it on dry ends.

isn't the whipped jelly awesome!...goes well for both wet and dry hair. and makes it so soft. its great for slicking edges. i was shocked when i looked at my edges midday and it was still slicked back. 2 thumbs up:yep:

Silk Elements MegaSilk Moisturizing Treatment.

-I celebrated my 3rd Nappiversary on August. 31st and since 2005 I have searched high and low for a really good moisturizing conditioner. Some felt good while they were on, but didnt do a thing after I rinsed it out, some never penetrated my very thick and sometimes course hair. Some worked okay, but didn't detangle, but THIS CONDITIONER makes me want to shout out from mountain tops.

-(You can search my posting history from 2006 as a testament to my struggles in finding a good conditioner)

-This conditioner is just amazing. What used to be a 3 hour ordeal in terms of detangling and washing days is now down to an 1 hour or so because of how easy this stuff helps me detangle.

-It is also amazing for moisture and softening. My hair actually feels softer, and more moisturized like the conditioner really got into the shaft of each strand. I can't say enough about this stuff.

Aveda Dry Remedy Moisturizing Shampoo

This is really the first shampoo that I've used that actually left my hair feeling clean AND moisturized. I remember washing my hair and rinsing and thinking wow, I could almost skip conditioning- but being that I was trying the set out (including the conditioner as well as a masque) I went ahead thinking that if the shampoo was that good the other 2 must be AMAZING..... well, not exactly. Check out my 'misses'.

:(Misses::(
Aveda Dry Remedy Moisturizing Conditioner
Aveda Dry Remedy Moisturizing Treatment Masque

After shampooing, used these after the shampoo and was highly dissapointed. I can tell almost immediately when a conditioner is actually going to work on my hair- I know it won't when my hair still feels course when I slather the conditioner on. I could feel it just sitting on my strands, and could easily tell it wasn't penetrating.

They did nothing for detangling and nothing for softening and I'm just dissapointed :(

More Misses- the Organix Conditioners (Coconut and the Shea ones). Just BOoo- they didn't do a thing. I expected a lot based on the ingredients, but just cuz you have sugar flour and butter doesn't mean the cake will be great. Oh well, at least they weren't as expensive as the AVEDA Dry Remedy:wallbash:

I looked all over dominicanville in ny trying to cop/find an old bottle where minks sacrificed thier oil - the new version doesn't have the mink oil in it and I'm not even gonna bother to buy..:nono:

HIT:
Kids Organics Shea Butter Moisturizer! My hair loves it. It last for at 3 days before I have to re-apply or wash.

Miss--
Nadia's Olive and Orange Nourishing conditioner--I wanted to like this one so bad but it did nothing for my hair. My hair feels dry right now. I'll just stick with the Banana Brulee and fortifying masks.

Characoal Leave-in treatment--made my hair shiny but that's about it. My hair feels dry and rough.

YES, I would love for the Whipped jelly to come in a larger size! I :love2: that stuff with a passion.

Hard as a rock. Wow, just dang!! You know what, I didn't use the product alone. I did a combo of it followed by the whipped cream then braided it up. I hate it didnt work out for you.
