Self relaxing 4s..how long do you process your edges?

Trying to find a happy medium between too straight and not straight enough. I leave the relaxer on for 20 min total but my edges less than that.

I dont self-relax, but when I go to the salon, I tell my stylist to do the edges last. I time it, and its usually about 10 min on the edges.

I usually try to half my total processing time on my edges so I say 10 mintues. I always do them last and put the most base on those areas.

I process my edges for 5 mins only otherwise they burn and beome brittle...

I just relaxed my hair "successfully" by my elf a few weeks ago, and I find that the front of my scalp burns much quicker than the back, so I can't really leave the relaxer on my front edges any more that 5-6 min. this last time, my friend who is a stylist showed me how to move quicker when self relaxing, thus avoiding burning, and I was able to leave the relaxer on my edges a little longer than normal.>>>>>> check out my updated fotki :

Oh and Alextin. I normally make sure I base my edges really heavy with something and I smooth for about 10 mins.

Hey Girl!!
I have been soo busy with my business, and with my new relationship. I did update my fotki, for my hair,.........check it out I am very proud of my hair growth thus far, and I will do the weight loss one this weekend, I've lost about 20lbs total, and still losing.
