Searching for Dermatologist or Trichologist

Does anyone know of a good black dermatologist or trichologist in Montgomery County Maryland or close by. I am having excessive hairloss and went to see a white dermatologist months ago. All he said was try Rogaine. I need to get to the root of the problem.

You might be able to find one through your health insurance network so that they can cover most of the cost for any treatments. Make sure you look at their credentials. The school they went to tells you a lot about what they're working with (MD means nothing when it comes to caring for our hair)

Do a search for Mitchellville and dermatologist. There was a thread on this last year and one of the ladies was raving about her doctor. Good luck.

Thanks so much. I will let you know what I find. I looked through your album and I love your hair. I am going to give up perms myself. I am just a little on the skeptical side but I know that I would have a better head of hair than the mess I have now.
