Scripture Request

Can someone point me to Scripture (if any) concerning the following:

A relationship born from sin yet ultimately lasting and growing to be godly. That is, though the relationship was initiated in sin, it was ultimately the will of the Lord for it to last. I feel like David may be an example somewhere in the Bible, but I'm uncertain.

Thanks in advance.

David and Bathsheba begat Solomon after their first baby died. That is the only one I can recall.

The Bible is full of unconventional relationships: Hosea and the prostitute, Judah and Tamar come to mind.

Thanks for posting this Loo! I didn't think to ask, but I'm been thinking about that subject.

Funny I just spent the weekend in Hosea

The bad part is its usually with great pain. David lost his son with Bathesheba and it was very very painful for her because it was her first born. Urriah was killed. THen the sword never ever left the house of David. He had peace in his house and thereafter there was none. brothers faught against brothers and some died and other things happend. I think a bad situation could turn out good, but not with out a lof of suffering along the way and only if that is within Gods purpose.[/B]Romans 8:28 (New American Standard Bible)[/B]
28And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
