I've been kind of lurking for awhile (mostly because I couldn't figure out why I couldn't post ) but I thought I'd introduce myself a little. I've found a lot of information on this forum. Mostly when I was looking for ways to make my relaxed hair work...it was a hot mess. Seeing so many of the sistas on here rocking out the natural hair truly inspired me. I began to transition about 6 weeks ago...

...but I got impatient and chopped it all off on Monday.:lachen:I'm open to any constructive criticism. I'm in the learning process with my hair but I don't really feel like I knew too much to begin with lol. I attached some pictures. The first is my hair relaxed and cut in a short bob from when I tried to transition  The second is my hair when it's wet...I can't figure out what type it is with all that relaxed hair mixed in. The third was a Bantu Knot Out (I loved it!!!), and then the pics after my BC. Anyways, just saying hi, and I look forward to talking to you all. :)

Welcome.

Glad to hear you were so inspired. I can't tell what type your hair is yet. I would wait a month or two to get an accurate assessment.

Goodluck!!

Thank you! :) and MSA...I clicked on the Hair Science link you posted on your newbie post...It's amazing what we do to our hair without knowing a thing.

I love your fade- it looks so good on you. If I ever transition I just know I would do the same thing. I really don't think I would want to bother with the 2 textures. Welcome- so glad you decided to join us.

Wow...AngelEyez, your color is so striking. I'm scared to put color in my hair, lol...but it looks really good on you. Very healthy.
